Review: I can highly recommend this juicer. I would have given it 5 stars but its a bit of a pain to clean. Then again that could be my laziness. I found it easy to use, the juice was great, and it is very very quick. I would also recommend the price.

Review: Never had a juicer before, but this one is great! Would not replace it with any other. Carrot juice comes out thick and rich tasting, the juice from the oranges which I peel and throw in comes out frothy, tasting zesty and nicely different from the squeezed kind. The apple juice is the nicest there could be. I find the machine easy to take apart and clean.

Review: its very very loud in here!
i bought this juicer a few weeks ago, having got totally fed up of my previous one where i had to chop and peel and slice everything before i could enjoy my fresh juice. then there was still the pain of cleaning badly designed parts that took me a good 20 minutes to get throughly clean.
So! i decided an upgrade was in order. i looked into the not so pretty juicer on that well know infomercial we've probably all seen, i can't deny i was impressed but it felt like too much money and they did seem to have to really push their fruit down the shoot with quite some force. i don't have much strength so this put me off...although it may have been good exercise in hindsight!
i chose this juicer for a few reasons:
1. PRICE. its significantly cheaper than its competitor on that infomercial, yet has the same main features; high capacity, ability to juice whole fruit, speed.
2. CAPACITY. i can not tell you what a difference the ability to juice whole fruits has made! it juices and entire apple straight from the fridge in about five seconds. now the only minor annoyance is having to peel oranges before juicing, that feels almost like a joy compared to before where i had to peel and chop everything. because of this, you get so much more juice from your fruits. i couldn't believe how amazing the amount of juice i got from three apples was compared to before.
3. EASE OF CLEANING. its so easy! there are four parts that need washing up and it takes me less than 5 minutes in the sink. it is so much easier to wash them as soon as you have finished juicing...dried on juice, not fun!
4. AESTHETICS. not to want to sound vain but how things look is important to me. the rest of my kitchen appliances are either black or silver (most of them both) so this appliance fits in perfectly. i call my 'white goods' silver goods now - SO much more appealing!
although i am super impressed and would recommend this juicer above any other i have come across it did loose a star from me due to the noise. it is so NOISY! i would compare it to the sound of a vacuum cleaner, so if you would be needing to juice at night then i think you may have a noise problem...but hey! if you get neighbors complaining then you could always silence them with gorgeous fresh juice. on the up side of the noise though, is that it doesn't take very long to juice at all, you could make a concoction of a few apples and pears within a minute.

Review: After much 'um-ing' and 'ah-ing' I decided upon the JE3 for my juicer of choice. For 2 main reasons: the powerful motor, and the large feeder shute. Many juicers have much smaller feeder shutes, which means that everything you juice has to be cut into relatively small pieces. This sounds like a minor annoyance, but it would add considerable time and effort to a 'juicing session'. The 850 watt motor makes light work of harder fruits (and vegetables) e.g. carrots, celery etc. As a rule I'm not a fan of 'celebrity' product endorsements, but don't be put off by this.
Admittedly it's not the smallest thing in the world, but that motor has to housed somewhere. The juicer is well-designed, simple to assemble and disassemble, and relatively easy to clean. Furthermore the different parts are quite re-assuringly chunky.
Overall a worthy addition to any kitchen.

Review: After my flimsy Juiceman Junior finally went to small appliance heaven, I decided to look around for a machine that I can actually live with = use it without hating to clean the thing afterwards. I'd never heard of Breville before, but the solid 5-star rating caught my eye. The idea of a wide enough feeder tube so I don't have to spend so much prep time was enticing, but what made me decide to buy the machine (cheaper some other place, look around) were the high marks on cleanup and performance. - Usually I don't write a review right away, but this juicer simply blew me away. What a beautiful piece of well thought-through craftmanship! Being German, I certainly prefer lasting performance over flimsy throw-away items, and this machine looks and feels like it will stand the test of time. I don't find the motor any louder than my previous machine, so that's not a problem. One reviewer wrote to put a damp paper towel around the pulp catcher rim to prevent tiny bits of pulp from flying out. I still had few tiny escapees, probably because I didn't do it right, but one quick wipe took care of it. Cleanup is indeed almost a joy compared to other machines. The mesh screen is build solidly, no plastic parts to wear out where it counts. This machine is worth every penny and then some.
